There are six meetings scheduled across Britain and Ireland on Wednesday; three afternoon fixtures, including one over jumps, followed by three evening Flat cards.
Racing Post tipster Marcus Buckland has provided three recommendations for the day's action.
14:40 Catterick - Micks The Boy @ 3/1
16:01 Bath - Campeona @ 1/2
19:00 Killarney - Cromac Quay @ 7/2
14:40 Catterick - Micks The Boy @ 3/1
The Richard Hughes-trained South West will likely be popular with punters following an eyecatching run at Leicester last time.
However, he did much of his best work in the closing stages over 6f on that occasion and could well prove vulnerable now back in trip on this much sharper course.
Michael and David Easterby's Micks The Boy showed plenty of early pace when second behind the potentially smart Arapaho Gold over 6f at Thirsk at the beginning of the month and could take some pegging back from stall one under 7lb claimer Lewis Chalkey.
He's a half-brother to 5f/7f winner Gray's Inn, who reached a peak official mark of 94 as a juvenile, so should be capable of improving on what he's shown so far.
16:01 Bath - Campeona @ 1/2
Sir Mark Prescott has yet to click fully into gear this season, but July is usually a strong month for the trainer, who can get on the scoresheet with the lightly raced Campeona at Bath.
The daughter of Study Of Men was beaten upwards of 12 lengths in each of her three outings at around 7f as a juvenile last year.
However, she showed marked improvement on her seasonal reappearance here at the start of the month, aided by the step up to 1m4f and switch to handicap company, finishing second of the seven runners off an opening official mark of 58.
She headed the market at 11/8, but was notably green under pressure and shaped as though the run - her first since December - might well have been needed from a fitness perspective.
Campeona's half-sisters Caribeno and Heath Rise were strong stayers, so this additional quarter-mile looks very much in her favour.
19:00 Killarney - Cromac Quay @ 7/2
Jessica Harrington's Cromac Quay has a bit to find on these terms, but she produced an exciting performance when opening her account at Leopardstown last month and should prove up to the task.
The daughter of sire of the moment, Night Of Thunder, has shown a high level of form on all of her three starts to date.
Cromac Quay ran to a Racing Post Rating of 91 when third over a mile on her debut at Leopardstown in April, 85 when runner-up at Naas in May and 94 when scoring by a widening 9.5 lengths back at Leopardstown over 7f on soft ground last month.
A return to a mile on quicker ground shouldn't be an inconvenience.
Marcus Buckland has enjoyed plenty of success in the last few weeks, his winners including Alobayyah (4/1), Mayor Of Maghera (9/2), English Time (5/6), Reds And Wolves (9/2) and Escape Magic (8/11)
