With temperatures soaring, only two race fixtures remaining across Britain and Ireland on Wednesday, one afternoon card from Carlisle followed by an evening fixture from Naas.
Racing Post tipster Marcus Buckland has provided three recommendations for the day's action.
15:30 Carlisle - I Can Dance @ 5/1
18:40 Naas - Caught U Sleeping @ 3/1
19:40 Naas - Krasimir @ 4/1
15:30 Carlisle - I Can Dance @ 5/1
Charlie Johnston's I CAN DANCE showed a good level of ability in three runs as a juvenile and is of major interest now going handicapping following a gelding operation.
The son of Bated Breath was placed on each start, showing her versatility in terms of conditions, finishing second on good to firm ground at Newmarket on his debut, second on heavy ground at Goodwood and third on the Polytrack at Kempton.
He was a beaten favourite the last twice, but acquitted himself well, running to Racing Post Ratings in the mid to high 70s.
He's been handed an official mark of 79, which looks more than workable and in-form pilot Connor Beasley takes the ride for the first time.
18:40 Naas - Caught U Sleeping @ 3/1
The step up to 1m2f over course-and-distance last month seemed to conjure significant improvement from Noel Meade's CAUGHT U SLEEPING, who bagged a first Listed prize.
The three-year-old has been highly tried since winning on her debut here last August, finishing a highly respectable third behind subsequent dual Group 1 winner Diamond Necklace at Leopardstown, before posting two lesser efforts in Group 3s at the Curragh and back at Leopardstown.
A promising eighth on her seasonal return over a mile, she took her form to a new level when edging out a useful sort in the Naas Oaks Trial.
She's 2-2 at this track and looks like the one to beat, albeit the unexposed Rebel Moon is feared.
19:40 Naas - Krasimir @ 4/1
Ger Lyons' KRASIMIR has a bit to find with Listentodwindblow on official figures, but it's hard to see where the handicap mark of 89 has come from for Joseph O'Brien's representative, who has yet to run to Racing Post Rating of 84 and was some way below that the last two times out.
The selection is 0-5 in his career to date, but he's gone agonisingly close on occasions and is proving extremely consistent.
Officially rated 82, 7lb below her aforementioned rival, he's fully deserving of that figure and comes here off a career best effort on his first try at a mile at Leopardstown last week.
He gets first-time blinkers added and could well improve again.
