History beckons for Big Mojo as he takes on eight rivals in the Haydock Sprint Cup.
Michael Appleby's star sprinter is aiming to become the first to defend his Sprint Cup crown in 60 years in Saturday's feature contest on Merseyside.
He slightly went off the boil after victory in this race 12 months ago, but has timed his return to form perfectly, landing the Phoenix Sprint Stakes at the Curragh when last seen.
Despite trailing Big Mojo last season, it is Kind Of Blue who will be plenty of punters' idea of the winner.
He has had a slightly less taxing campaign that a lot of these in 2026, with just the two starts to his name thus far. Soft ground may also be in his favour if his British Champions Sprint Stakes win is anything to go by.
Another that will appreciate the slower surface is Kind Of Blue's owner-mate Paborus.
Trainer Ed Bethell had Classic aspirations for Recoletos gelding in his younger years, however, he has proven a little tricky to keep fit. They do, however, look like they've got a clear run with him now and if he improves for the step back in trip, then he will be a real danger going off his effort in the City Of York Stakes behind Notable Speech.
Whoever comes out on top will have to improve to get past William Haggas' Almeraq, though. Wins on soft and good to soft suggest that conditions will be absolutely no problem to him and he prevailed at Royal Ascot back in June, beating Satono Reve and Joliestar in the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes.
