Falkirk v Hearts Prediction: 21/20 McPake to help Jambos to victory

Hearts have found their feet under manager Wouter Vrancken and another win could be on the cards when they travel to Falkirk in the Scottish Premiership on Tuesday evening.

After UEFA Champions League and Europa League qualifying disappointment at the beginning of the campaign, Hearts have started to turn things round over the last month and they will fancy their chances of claiming the spoils at Falkirk Stadium.

While the Bairns have put in some strong performances, they have not got the results they have perhaps deserved and find themselves just one place above rock-bottom Kilmarnock.

Falkirk v Hearts Tips Summary

Best Bet - Hearts to win @ 9/10
Alternative Bet - Josh McPake to score or assist @ 21/20
Bet Builder - Over 2 goals, Claudio Braga 4+ shots & Ben Krauhaus to be booked @ 14/1

Falkirk v Hearts

Falkirk v Hearts Prediction

Best Bet: Hearts to win @ 9/10

It took a while for Hearts to find their stride under Vrancken, who was appointed in the summer following the departure of Derek McInnes, but his side head to Falkirk on a nine-game unbeaten run.

The Jam Tarts won 3-0 at Stenhousemuir in the Scottish League Cup on Friday, making it four wins in a row in normal time, while they have racked up four successive victories in the Scottish Premiership since an opening weekend loss to Aberdeen.

Only Celtic (14) have scored more goals in the league than Hearts, who have netted 12 times, while the Bhoys and Rangers are the only two teams to better the Tynecastle outfit’s defensive record of five goals conceded.

Everything appears to be heading in the right direction for Vrancken's side, but the same cannot be said of Falkirk, who have drawn two and lost three of their opening five games.

The Bairns have lost to the Gers and St. Mirren in their last two home matches and they have not won in their own backyard in the league since May.

Add in that Hearts have not lost a league trip at Falkirk since 2008 and the visitors look like a solid bet to come away with all three points.

Alternative Bet: Josh McPake to score or assist @ 21/20

Josh McPake has been in fantastic form for Hearts and he registered his third assist in a row in the Premiership in the 2-1 win over Dundee.

The 25-year-old, who arrived from St Johnstone in the summer, also has two goals to his name, netting in the 4-0 victory over Dundee United and in the 3-1 win against Hibernian.

McPake has either scored or assisted in all four league outings and he looks capable of adding to either tally.

Falkirk v Hearts Bet Builder Tip

  • Over 2 goals

  • Claudio Braga 4+ shots

  • Ben Krauhaus to be booked

    Pays 14/1

There have been more than two goals in two of Falkirk's last three home matches and in 10 of Hearts' last 11 fixtures.

Claudio Braga had 12 attempts in the 2-1 win over Dundee in Hearts' last league outing, taking his tally to 26 shots in the top-flight and he can register at least four efforts against a team allowing an average of 17.60 shots at them in the league.

On loan at Falkirk from Brentford, Ben Krauhaus has been cautioned once this term and given he is averaging 2.25 fouls per game in the league, a second booking may not be far away.
