Crystal Palace v Ipswich Town Prediction: Back 10/11 Tractor Boys to boost points tally

Crystal Palace claimed their first Premier League win of the season last weekend, beating Fulham 3-2 at Craven Cottage, and they take on promoted Ipswich Town on Saturday.

The Tractor Boys beat Sunderland 2-1 in their opening game of the campaign before losing 5-2 at Manchester United and 2-0 at home to Liverpool.

Both clubs are under new management this season and Pierre Sage's Palace are favourites to defeat Gary O'Neil's Ipswich side.

Crystal Palace v Ipswich Town Prediction

Best Bet: Ipswich Town or Draw - Double Chance @ 10/11

Palace manager Sage enjoyed a welcome win at Fulham last weekend and his side followed up with Tuesday's 3-0 home victory over Middlesbrough in the EFL Cup.

Those results eased the pressure on Sage and his players after disappointing defeats to Everton and Manchester City in their first two Premier League games.

However, Palace look too short in the betting to take three points against an Ipswich side who have made a decent start under O'Neil.

Former Bournemouth boss O'Neil replaced promotion-winning manager Kieran McKenna in the summer and the Tractor Boys also signed 14 new players in the transfer window.

They beat Sunderland, who could be one of their main survival rivals, in their opening game and led Manchester United 1-0 late in the first half at Old Trafford.

O'Neil's men were ultimately blown away by a Bruno Fernandes-inspired United, losing 5-2, before Alexander Isak scored two early goals in Liverpool's 2-0 win at Portman Road.

Palace, missing injured striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and winger Ismaila Sarr, look less threatening in attack so the Ipswich or draw double-chance selection is a good bet.

The Eagles rode their luck at Fulham, who had 25 shots at Dean Henderson's goal, and they won only four of their 19 Premier League home fixtures last season.

Alternative Bet: Julio Enciso to score or assist @ 15/8

Julio Enciso contributed a goal and two assists in five 2026 World Cup appearances for Paraguay and he looks an excellent signing for Town.

The former Brighton forward is a tempting bet to score or assist at Selhurst Park, having had six of Ipswich's 10 shots against Liverpool last time out.

Enciso forced Reds goalkeeper Alisson into a couple of saves at Portman Road, where he set up Emersonn's first-half goal in Town's opening win against Sunderland.

He claimed another assist in the 5-2 defeat at Old Trafford, winning the ball back to tee up substitute Chuba Akpom for a late consolation strike.

Enciso is certainly capable of moments of magic. His long-range strike for Brighton against Man City was the 2022/23 Premier League Goal of the Season and he should be at the heart of Ipswich's attacking gameplan.

Both teams to score was a winning bet in three of Ipswich's four matches this season and Palace's 3-2 win at Fulham last weekend featured 35 shots.

Town forward Daizen Maeda scored nine times in his last seven appearances for Celtic in 2025/26 and had at least one shot in all three Premier League starts this term.

Sasa Lukic was booked in Ipswich's defeat at Man Utd and picked up 21 yellow cards in his last two seasons at Fulham.
