We take a look at the contenders for the first Premier League manager to leave their job this season.
A total of 11 Premier League managers lost their jobs during the 2025/26 season, with Nuno Espirito Santo the first to leave when he was sacked as Nottingham Forest manager.
The Portuguese coach lasted just three matches at the start of last season and there are already some murmurings of discontent in the top-flight this time around.

Alvaro Arbeloa
It has been a disastrous start to Alvaro Arbeloa's reign as Fulham manager.
He spent time as the interim boss at Real Madrid during the 2025/26 campaign, but his move to the Premier League has not gone well so far.
Fulham have lost all three of their top-flight fixtures so far, with both players and supporters seemingly far from happy.
David Moyes
David Moyes' contract at Everton expires at the end of the season.
Moyes has been unsatisfied with the club's dealings in the transfer market after they failed to sign a striker on deadline day.
The club finished 13th last season but they have started the new campaign solid enough, despite clear frustrations off the field.
Unai Emery
It has been a difficult summer for Aston Villa after losing the likes of Morgan Rogers, Ollie Watkins, Emiliano Martinez and Youri Tielemans.
Several new faces have arrived and Unai Emery is trying his best to integrate the summer signings into a new-look team.
