Unfortunately for the thousands of racegoers attending, the weather forecast doesn't look promising and rain is expected to fall at various stages throughout the day.

The conditions may result in some non-runners and Be The Standard was the first casualty in the Cherryfield (Croydon) Lester Piggott Handicap.
