Picking a team/Making transfers

Fantasy players can pick seven players and two Clubs from a combination of all three divisions - Championship, League One and League Two - with no budget.

Creating a seven-player squad, teams must adhere to the following formations: 1-2-2-2, 1-2-3-1 and 1-3-2-1.

There are no restrictions on how many times you can select an individual player over the course of the season, but you can only select a maximum of two players from any one club each Gameweek.

There are no transfers to be carried over or used: each week you can create a brand new team!

However, you are limited in your Club selection, as you can only select an individual Club a maximum of five times over the course of the season.

Each Gameweek you must select a captain and vice-captain. The captain will earn double points for your team, however if your selected captain does not play, your vice-captain will inherit the armband and pick up double points instead.

If you forget about updating your EFL Fantasy team before the Gameweek deadline, do not panic. Your team will roll-over to the next Gameweek automatically. If your team rolling over means you exceed the selection limit on a Club, then the game will automatically replace that Club with another team.

Chips

There are additional chips available to use throughout the season.

The Max Captain gives managers double points from their highest scoring player, meaning a captain doesn't need to be manually selected for that round. This is available twice per season.

The One Club chip allows an unlimited number of players to be selected from one team for a single Gameweek. For example, you could pick seven West Ham players.
