Talk about endearing yourself into the hearts of the locals, Ings had only been on the pitch for 18 minutes before he bagged his first goal for the Chairboys -- one that salvaged them a draw against local rivals Reading.

It was no less than the home side had deserved having largely dominated the Buckinghamshire - Berkshire derby, especially throughout a one-sided second 45 minutes.

Ings appearance at Adams Park represented his first venture into life in the third-tier in almost 15 years, with his last goal at that level coming for Bournemouth at the start of his professional career.

Of course, since then he has enjoyed a stellar career representing the likes of Liverpool, Aston Villa, West Ham United, Southampton and Burnley in the Premier League, whilst also earning three caps for England.
