Best Gameweek 34 FPL Free Hit team including Mo Salah, Bruno Fernandes & more

A number of Fantasy Premier League managers joined the 100-club in a largely successful Double Gameweek 33, and those who went without the Free Hit chip may be looking to deploy it in Gameweek 34.

Erling Haaland, Rayan Cherki and Morgan Gibbs-White were amongst the highest points scorers last weekend, while Double Gameweek duo Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro combined for just two points in a bitterly disappointing week for Chelsea.

From Double Gameweek to Blank Gameweek, Gameweek 34 is set to deliver an entirely different challenge.

With that said, we take a look at the best Gameweek 34 FPL team for those activating the Free Hit chip.

Premier League

Goalkeeper

Mads Hermansen - £4.2m (WHU)

Fixture - Everton (H)

While West Ham have conceded more Premier League goals than all but two sides this campaign, their need for results has inspired an improvement in their defensive compactness, and Hammers stopper Mads Hermansen will be looking to make it three clean sheets on the bounce when they welcome Everton on Saturday afternoon.

Defenders

Virgil van Dijk - LIV (£6.2M)

Fixture - Crystal Palace (H)

Virgil van Dijk was the Derby Day hero when heading home a 100th minute winner for Liverpool at the Hill Dickinson Stadium last weekend, and, despite the Reds' defensive struggles, only two defenders, Gabriel Magalhaes and Marc Guehi, have scored more points than the Dutchman this term.

Gabriel Magalhaes - ARS (£7.1m)

Fixture - Newcastle (H)

It's crunch time in the Premier League title race and Gabriel, who endured a tough battle against Norwegian brute Erling Haaland last weekend, will be looking to inspire a solid defensive performance when Arsenal host an out of sorts Newcastle side in Gameweek 34.

El Hadji Malick Diouf - £4.1m (WHU)

Fixture - Everton (H)

A tenacious full-back with a knack for getting forward, El Hadji Malick Diouf has been one of West Ham's standout performers this campaign.

He impressed when the Hammers played Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium earlier in the campaign, registering an assist for Jarrod Bowen, and we're backing him for another stellar performance when David Moyes' side visit the London Stadium.

Midfielders

Mohamed Salah - £14.0m (LIV)

Fixture - Crystal Palace (H)

While Mohamed Salah may not get the fairytale send-off with regards to silverware, the opener in the Merseyside Derby is certainty a feat that he can cherish as he embarks on his final few weeks with Liverpool.

Despite receiving vast criticism this campaign, he's still accumulated 21 goal contributions in all competitions and he'll be looking to add to that tally when the Reds face Crystal Palace at Anfield.

Bruno Fernandes - £10.3m (MUN)

Fixture - Brentford (H)

Bruno Fernandes' remarkable 2025/26 campaign is encapsulated by the fact that he currently leads the betting to win the PFA Player of the Year award, and he is only three assists away from breaking the record for the most assists in a Premier League season.

Man Utd welcome Brentford on Monday night, and we fancy Fernandes to spearhead the Red Devils to a victory that would take them a matter of points away from UEFA Champions League qualification.

Matheus Cunha - £8.0m (MUN)

Fixture - Brentford (H)

It was the combination of Fernandes and Matheus Cunha that gave Man Utd all three points at Stamford Bridge in Gameweek 33, and the the £8.0m midfield asset is set to play a key part in his side's attack once again on Monday night.

Morgan Gibbs-White - £7.5m (NFO)

Fixture - Sunderland (H)

Morgan Gibbs-White has hit form at just the right time for Nottingham Forest, scoring three goals in their 4-1 victory over now-relegated Burnley last weekend, and if Vitor Pereira's side are to get a result away at Sunderland in Gameweek 34, expect the England international to be at the heart of it.

Forwards

Jarrod Bowen - £7.7m (WHU)

Fixture - Everton (H)

Jarrod Bowen has epitomised consistency since joining West Ham in 2020, and this season has been no different, scoring eight goals and recording eight assists in the top-flight.

He notched three assists in his side's 4-0 victory over Wolves the last time that West Ham played at the London Stadium and, having already scored against Everton this campaign, he'll be eager to do so once again on Saturday.

Brian Brobbey - £5.3m (SUN)

Fixture - Nottingham Forest (H)

Concerns were raised for Brian Brobbey's fitness at the start of the campaign as he struggled for minutes under the stewardship of Regis Le Bris, but he has been the dependable Sunderland front man in more recent months and will be in search of a seventh league goal against relegation-battling Forest on Friday night.

Ollie Watkins - £8.7m (AST)

Fixture - Fulham (A)

It has felt like a difficult campaign for Ollie Watkins, primarily due to a start to the season that saw him score once in his opening 13 top-flight contests, but a brace against Sunderland saw him surpass 10 league goals and he'll be keen to add to his tally against Fulham.

Substitutes

Freddie Woodman (£3.9m), Matty Cash (£4.7m), Omar Alderete (£4.1m), Max Dowman (£4.2m).
