We're approaching the closing stages of the Fantasy Premier League season and a number of managers still have lots of important decisions to make.
With double Gameweeks, single Gameweeks and blank Gameweeks still to come, those who have kept hold of their Wildcard chips will be counting their lucky stars, with several players seemingly toying with the idea of activating their game-changing FPL asset in Gameweek 32.
It's worth noting that a number of our Gameweek 32 Wildcard team selections will double in Gameweek 33 and subsequently blank in Gameweek 34, and so if you've already activated your second Free Hit chip, it might be worth selecting players who won't blank in the upcoming weeks to prevent a significant rank drop.
Without further ado, we list the best Wildcard squad for those activating the chip in Gameweek 32.
A contest against the league's fourth lowest scorers, Burnley, is followed by double Gameweek fixtures against Tottenham and Chelsea, and while a clean sheet is by no means a guarantee in either contest, you'd suspect Bart Verbruggen will rack up some save points as Brighton continue their push for Europe.
Nico O'Reilly is enjoying quite the season for Manchester City, scoring twice in his side's 2-0 victory over Arsenal in the EFL Cup, and he too awaits a Double Gameweek in Gameweek 33, with the Citizens set to welcome Arsenal before travelling to Burnley.
Double gameweek or not, Gabriel Magalhaes is essential. The Brazilian defender is one of few players in this Wildcard team that will feature in blank Gameweek 34, and you'd be naive to go without the fourth highest points scorer in FPL this season.
Scoring more points than any Brighton asset in the 2025/26 term, it's hard to look past £4.5m Jan Paul van Hecke ahead of the Seagulls' favourable run of fixtures.
Completing the Brighton trio is Gambian winger Yankuba Minteh, and while he's struggled for regular minutes in recent months, he gave Liverpool full-back Jeremie Frimpong all kind of problems in his side's 2-1 victory over the Reds before the international break and he'll be keen to maintain his spot on Fabian Hurzeler's right flank in the closing stages of the season.
On few occasions has Cole Palmer been a must-have asset so far this season, but the £10.6m midfielder awaits contests against Manchester United and Brighton in Double Gameweek 33 and he'll no doubt be eager to stake his claim in Thomas Tuchel's England XI before the 2026 World Cup.
An essential asset at Bournemouth and an essential asset at Man City, Antoine Semenyo has been FPL gold so far this campaign. While Pep Guardiola's side do blank in Gameweek 34, they face Arsenal and Burnley in Gameweek 33, and face the prospect of another Double Gameweek in 36.
Bruno Fernandes has always been an enticing FPL option, but the return of Michael Carrick to the Old Trafford dugout has made him a necessity. The Red Devils aren't expected to blank for the rest of the 2025/26 campaign, and with a home contest against Premier League strugglers Leeds on the horizon, he simply can't be dismissed.
While Erling Haaland has been nowhere near his 'robotic' self in the Premier League of late, he found the net on three occasions in Man City's 4-0 win over Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-finals and you'd be naive to leave him out of the side with the Citizens set to enjoy two Double Gameweeks between 32 and 36.
While many put Joao Pedro's impressive 2024/25 season down to the frequency in which he converted penalties, the same can't be said for this campaign in which Palmer is often trusted from 12 yards out, and so 14 goals and eight assists in 31 top flight contests can't be ignored for a nailed on striker in one of the division's most threatening attacks.
Few anticipated Dominic Calvert-Lewin reaching the heights that he has since trading Everton for Leeds, but he's put himself back in contention for a spot at the World Cup and he'll be desperate to maintain his impressive goalscoring record as the the West Yorkshire outfit look to retain their Premier League status.
Karl Darlow (£3.9m), James Hill (£4.2m), Jaka Bijol (£3.9m), Marcus Tavernier (£5.4m)
