Bayern Munich v Paris Saint-Germain Odds: 20/1 for a repeat of nine-goal first leg

Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain lock horns in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals on Wednesday night, and if the first leg is anything to go by, this one promises to be a cracker.

PSG's 5-4 win against Bayern last week was the highest-scoring semi-final match in the UEFA Champions League, formerly known as the European Cup, since 1960, where Eintracht Frankfurt defeated Rangers 6-3.

Many have gone as far as to say that the contest is amongst the greatest clashes in the competition's history, and with an abundance of undoubted world class talent on display, it's hard to disagree.

Ousmane Dembele's converted penalty put PSG 3-2 ahead of the break, and an onslaught of attacks from the reigning champions in the early stages of the second half saw their lead extended to 5-2 after just 58 minutes.

A quickfire response from the visitors saw Dayot Upamecano and Luis Diaz reduce the deficit to just one goal ahead of the second leg, and the Bundesliga champions will look to make use of home advantage at the Allianz Arena.

Bayern Munich v Paris Saint-Germain

Bayern Munich are 3/5 favourites to emerge victorious inside 90 minutes and, in unusual fashion, both Bayern and PSG are odds-on to qualify for the final.

Of the Bavarians' three losses in all competitions this campaign, only one has come when playing at home, falling to a surprise defeat against FC Augsburg on 24th January.

As for PSG, four of their seven defeats in all competitions have come when playing away from home, including a 2-1 loss against Sporting CP in the league phase of the UEFA Champions League.

An unrivalled level of attacking quality was showcased in the French capital last week, with five of the six starting attackers finding the net, and if you fancy another high-scoring affair, you can back over 6.5 goals at 5/1.

Meanwhile, England captain and Ballon d'Or favourite Harry Kane is 15/4 to score first after opening the scoring from the spot last time out.
