Former Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglu has been named as the new Al Nassr manager, turning down the Scotland job to join the Saudi Pro League club.
'Big Ange' had been out of work since departing Nottingham Forest last season, but has now signed to move to the Saudi Pro League ahead of next season.
The Australian had been linked with a number of jobs since his most recent dismissal, including the job as Kazakhstan manager, but Al Nassr have won the race to secure his signature.
In a statement, Al Nassr said: "A new chapter. Mr. Ange Postecoglou as coach of the first football team at (Al Nassr) club."
The Saudi club confirmed the contract length for the Australian, stating: "and that with a contract extending for two seasons"
They then added: "Our best wishes for success to him and his staff in their journey with the Global Club"
Ange will be tasked with retaining the Saudi Pro League title, after Al Nassr and Cristiano Ronaldo finally lifted the coveted trophy last campaign.
As well as Ronaldo, Al Nassr also possess quality players such as Mohamed Simakan, Sadio Mane, Joao Felix and Kingsley Coman - among others.
It will come as a big surprise to many that Ange Postecoglu has turned up in the dug out for the Saudi side, with the former Celtic boss reportedly the top contender to replace Steve Clarke as Scotland manager.
Attention for Scotland will now turn to looking at other targets, with Steve Clarke's successor still yet to be confirmed.
