Cristiano Ronaldo finally succeeded in his quest to win the Saudi Pro League.
The Portugal captain netted a brace in a 4-1 win over Damac on the final day to see Al-Nassr over the line, amid pressure from Karim Benzema's Al-Hilal, who finished two points adrift of Ronaldo's side.
This is only the second major trophy that the 41-year-old has won with the club since making the switch to the Middle East from Manchester United in 2023.
Ronaldo has suffered several narrow misses in the league with Al-Nassr but, at long last, the 28 goals he scored in the league this season has helped get them over the line.
The Saudi Pro League triumph is officially Ronaldo's 35th major honour of his career, putting him level with the likes of former teammates Ryan Giggs and Benzema but some way behind his great rival Lionel Messi, who has 45.
Attentions will now turn to winning a 36th trophy, this time with Portugal, where Ronaldo will appear at a sixth World Cup this summer.
