Justin Thomas has been recovering from back surgery delaying his start to the 2026 PGA Tour Season.
The PGA Tour Season has been off to an exciting start with Brooks Koepka announcing his Tour return, Scottie Scheffler added another trophy to the collection, and Collin Morikawa earned a first place finish for the first time since 2023.
A Tour favorite has yet to tee off. Justin Thomas has been recovering from microdiscectomy surgery since November 2025.
Justin Thomas will make his 2026 Tour debut on March 5th at Bay Hill.
Famously nicknamed "The King's Place," the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill is the third Signature Event of the PGA Tour this season.
Justin Thomas made the announcement that this will be his first 2026 Tour start. Last season he had eight top-10 finishes and is a 16-time PGA Tour winner including two PGA Championship's Wins (2017 & 2022).
This course is renowned for its challenging conditions, and will be Thomas' fifth appearance at the API. Justin Thomas will put his recovery to the test among the top Tour players in the field at Bay Hill.
