Golf Specials: Odds on Top Golfers to Win a Major in 2026

Odds on the world's best active golfers to win a major in 2026, The Masters, PGA Championship, US Open, and Open Championship.

Rory McIlroy completed the sixth ever men's golf Grand Slam last year as he finally earned a green jacket at the 2025 US Masters, and went back-to-back by winning the US Masters again in 2026. The golfer from Northern Ireland has won six majors in his career, including the one already in 2026.

Aaron Rai became the second golfer to win a major tournament in 2026, taking home the silverware at the 2026 PGA Championship. Rai became the first Englishman to win the championship since Jim Barnes in 1919, and made history by becoming the first PGA Championship winner to lower his score in every round (70-69-68-65).

The two remaining major championships are the Open Championship (July 16, 2026) and the U.S. Open Championship (June 18, 2026).

Scottie Scheffler (+250), the most dominant golfer in the world the past few years, is the favorite to win a Major in 2026.

Scheffler, 29, has won four Majors in his career. He was victorious at the Masters in 2022 and 2024, and won the PGA Championship and The Open Championships in 2025.

To complete a career grand slam in 2026, Scheffler will need to win the U.S. Open. Coincidentally, the final day of that tournament falls on Scheffler's 30th birthday this year - June 21st, 2026. What a birthday present that would be!

Bryson DeChambeau (+600) has won two major tournaments since 2020, and has the third shortest odds to win his third in 2026. Dechambeau has won the U.S. Open for both of his major victories.

Jon Rahm (+600) and Xander Schauffele (+900) have also won two majors in their career. Rahm won the 2021 U.S. Open, and the 2023 Masters, and Schauffele won the PGA Championship and Open Championship in 2024.

Tommy Fleetwood (+1000) and Ludvig Aberg (+1000) have the shortest odds of any golfers to win their first Major championship in 2026, other than 2026 breakout Cameron Young (+700).

Justin Thomas and Collin Morikawa have both won two major championships.

Brooks Koepka has won 5 majors in his career, and is just out of the top-10 in odds to win another in 2026.
