Mauricio Pochettino's tenure with the USMNT is quickly gaining momentum. Coming off a dominant and morale-boosting victory over Mexico, the Stars and Stripes showcased an impressive crop of emerging talent. The head coach has placed heavy trust in youth during this international break, injecting new energy into the squad as they prepare for the road ahead.

In back-to-back matches, Mathis Albert and Cavan Sullivan have become the youngest players to score a goal for the United States. Albert became the youngest goalscorer in USMNT history after scoring against Chile, and a few days later, Sullivan scored against Mexico—just five days after his 17th birthday—to push Albert to second on the list of youngest goalscorers.

Another stern test for the Americans looms on the horizon against a high-flying Canadian side led by a familiar face in Jesse Marsch. The American-born tactician has consistently got the upper hand against his home nation and will be eager to maintain that record. Anchored by a resilient backline, Canada comes into the fixture on the back of stellar performances across CONCACAF competitions.

The CANMNT are 2-0 during the international break with wins against Chile and Peru.
