Canada have officially qualified for the 2026 World Cup as one of the tournaments three host nations, along with the United States and Mexico.

Canada have been draw into Group B, and will face Switzerland, Qatar, and Bosnia & Herzegovina.

Canada will host it's opening match of the World Cup in Toronto on June 12, 2026. Canada is undergoing a golden era of talent this decade, and 2026 will be Canada's third overall and second consecutive World Cup appearance.

Led by American head coach Jesse Marsch, Canada will be a difficult team to beat in the 2026 World Cup, especially on home soil.

The Canadian Soccer Association was founded in 1912, and the men's national team played its first official match in 1924.

Canada qualified for it's first World Cup in Mexico in 1986, but were unable to get back to the tournament until 2022 in Qatar.
