Jessica Pegula vs. Emma Navarro Predictions & Best Bets

Jessica Pegula and Emma Navarro meet at Flushing Meadows in an all-American tussle in the quarterfinals of the US Open.

Pegula is the third seed and top-ranked American in the women's draw, while Navarro is ranked 27th and enjoying a resurgence at her home Grand Slam after a tough start to 2026.

It will be the first all-American US Open quarterfinal since 2015 and the winner advances to face either two-time defending champion Aryna Sabalenka or Wimbledon winner Linda Noskova in the last four.

Jessica Pegula vs. Emma Navarro betting picks and predictions

Jessica Pegula to win 2-1 (+260)

Pegula was the 2024 US Open runner-up, losing to Sabalenka, and would love to reach a second Grand Slam final this week in New York.

She dominates the head-to-head, winning all four previous matches against Navarro, although this is their first Grand Slam meeting.

Navarro admits Pegula has been a tough opponent for her previously, suggesting she "probably hits the flattest ball on tour", but feels she is ready to compete and attempt to get the number three seed out of her rhythm.

Pegula has dropped just one set in four matches so far in the US Open, losing the opener 6-1 against Leylah Fernandez in round three.

Navarro needed three sets in her first two matches, but has since completed straight sets wins over number seven seed Karolina Muchova and Anna Kalinskaya.

A tough start to 2026 is now giving way to some good form for Navarro and this is already her best Grand Slam run of the year.

The 25-year-old was a Flushing Meadows semifinalist in 2024 and while she may not get back there just yet, she can push Pegula all the way.

First set over 9.5 games (+110)

First sets have typically been hard fought in previous meetings between this pair. Pegula was a 7-5 first set winner last month in Cincinnati, while two of their three previous matches had gone to a first set tie-breaker.

Pegula lost her serve twice in the opening set against retiring Sorana Cirstea in the previous round, while Navarro was clinical in needing just one break point to land the first set against Kalinskaya 6-4.

A Grand Slam semifinal spot is on the line and the first set is likely to go deep with both players refusing to give an inch.

Over 6.5 double faults (-137)

Eight double faults were served when Pegula (3) and Navarro (5) met last month in Cincinnati.

The number three seed struggled with her serve in the last-16, making five doubles against her 36-year-old Romanian opponent.

Navarro served just a lone double fault in the previous round, but had offered 11 across her opening three wins and should be under much greater pressure here than she was against Kalinskaya, which should lead to a rise in the error count.
