UFC Fight Night: Yadong vs. Figueiredo betting picks and predictions

Yadong Song to win by KO, TKO or DQ (+105)

Yadong Song (22-9-1) can bounce back in style against fellow top-10 Bantamweight Deiveson Figueiredo (25-6-1).

Song goes into this fight on the back of a unanimous decision defeat to Sean O’Malley in January, where he was edged out by the former champion.

The 28-year-old’s recent run has also seen him face two other former belt holders, securing a 2025 win over Henry Cejudo, whilst he also lost a five-round decision to Petr Yan in 2024.

Song has the same number of pro fights as his opponent, despite being 10 years his junior, having learnt on the job in his 16-fight UFC tenure (11-4-1).

Figueiredo is a former two-time Flyweight champion, who moved to Bantamweight following the end of his quadrilogy with Brandon Moreno in 2023.

The Brazilian scored three wins in a row at 135lbs against Rob Font, Cody Garbrant and Marlon Vera but has since gone 1-3 with a win over Montel Jackson and defeats to Petr Yan (Dec), Cory Sandhagen (R2 TKO, injury) and Umar Nurmagomedov (Dec).

The 38-year-old's size and power hasn't quite translated to Bantamweight and with Yadong being strong and fast at the weight, the Chinese athlete could have too much for him later in the fight.

Over 3.5 rounds (-145)

A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, Figueiredo has proven hard to finish throughout his career.

His only TKO losses inside the distance came via an injury he suffered against Sandhagen and a doctor stoppage against Moreno.

Figueiredo has more five round experience with nine bookings, with a 4-4-1 record, compared to Yadong’s 1-1-0 record over 25 minutes.

From his 14 UFC wins, the Brazilian has four by KO/TKO and four by submission, albeit only a rear-naked-choke finish of Cody Garbrandt since moving to 135lbs.

In contrast, Yadong has five KO/TKO wins from his 11 UFC wins, with one submission.

Both have finishing potential and although Song is the likely winner, there is a very good chance this one goes into the championship rounds.
