Tottenham Hotspur are in desperate search of their first win of the 2026/27 Premier League season, but have an underrated matchup with David Moyes' Everton.

Everton are undefeated in the first three games of the season, with one win and two draws. Everton have been hard to beat, particularly when Ainsley Maitland-Niles is hitting a 25 yard rocket into the top corner of the net in stoppage time.

This matchup is a perfect opportunity for Jack Grealish to start his first game this year after coming on as a substitute against Manchester United. The issue for Grealish is that Tyrique George, who has been quite good to start the season, plays his position on the left wing. George is likely to move to the right wing to make room for the former Manchester City player.

Everton are yet to score this season, so a lot of pressure will be on Mathys Tel, Omar Marmoush, and the rest of the Spurs forwards. The defense will also need to be solid, and goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky cannot afford to make any mistakes with Thierno Barry hungry to add to his 2026/27 goal tally.
