No player has won the Tour Championship as many times as Rory McIlroy, he'll be looking to add his fourth FedExCup title at East Lake Golf Club this week.
McIlroy's 2026 PGA Tour season is highlighted by successfully defending his Masters title and eight Top-25 finishes.
Rory McIlroy's playoff run started off slow at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, finishing in 66th. However, he quickly found his rhythm opening the BMW Championship with a bogey-free, 6-under 64 to share the lead.
While it looked like Wyndham Clark was going to run away with the win, McIlroy made up ground in the final round, tying with Clark with just three holes remaining. Ultimately, McIlroy finished the BMW Championship in third place.
He will hope to use that same momentum this week at the 2026 Tour Championship.
