The 2019 NBA Draft class is headlined by late bloomers, and key bench players - multiple of whom have won the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year award already in their careers.
In this redraft, the players who went first and second overall, Zion Williamson fall to fourth and fifth due to both players' inability to stay on the floor consistently.
In this redraft, four second-round picks would crack the top-30, and six players who went undrafted would also find themselves in the mix.

The top-five picks in the 2019 redraft are a real toss-up, with no players establishing themselves as the true best player on the class.
Ja Morant and Zion Williamson have reached the highest points of stardom, but consistent production from Darius Garland, Tyler Herro and RJ Barrett give those players more appeal when looking back at each players' career to date.
Picks 6-10 could also be switched around based on a teams need. Nickeil Alexander-Walker just won the 2025/26 NBA Most Improved Player award, and Keldon Johnson won the associations Sixth Man of the Year award over Naz Reid, who has already won that award twice.
Lu Dort and Cameron Johnson are also solid contributors. Dort is one of the best defensive guards in the NBA, and Cam Johnson is a do-it-all forward who finished third in the Sixth Man of the Year voting in 2021/22.
Picks 10-20 are all all solid contributors for their respective teams as either the fifth man in the starting lineup or key figures off the bench.
Jordan Poole's career has been unique, but his scoring ability makes him rise six spots in the redraft. The ladder end of the first round is pretty weak, and includes many players who are either on the end of the bench, or not on a team at all.
Ty Jerome is one of the most intriguing players from the 2019 draft class. Jerome had a very slow start to his career but had a breakout 2024, finishing second in the Sixth Man of the Year voting. Jerome played only 15 games in 2025/26 with the Memphis Grizzlies, but averaged 19.7 points and 5.7 assists in those few games.
With another season under his belt, Jerome could elevate himself into the top-10 players from this draft class.
