Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss has been the best player in college football through three weeks, and got the last laugh on his former coach, Lane Kiffin, when the Rebels hosted LSU in Oxford last week.
Chambliss has led Ole Miss to victories over two Top-25 teams in the country, while passing for 924 yards and seven touchdowns. Running back Kewan Lacy has also been good on the ground, rushing for 191 yards (4.9 yards per carry) and three touchdowns.
Lacy is considered one of the best running backs in college football, but it's undeniable that Florida's back, Jadan Baugh, is the standard at which running backs should be judged this season. Baugh has rushed for 458 yards and eight touchdowns on 54 carries (8.5 yards per carry), which are both top two in college football after three games.
Ole Miss will need its defence to step up and slow down Baugh, particularly along the interior line. Defensive tackle Will Echoles was great for the Rebels last season, but he will have to live up to his hype as one of the top defensive prospects in the nation on Saturday against Florida.
Both teams are packed with talent on both sides of the ball, and this game could come down to Chambliss, Lacy, or Baugh delivering a heroic performance to win the game for their school.
Florida is the 21st-ranked team in college football according to the AP Poll, and they are favored against No. 4 Ole Miss at home in the Swamp.
