Philadelphia Eagles' star wide receiver A.J. Brown may be on the trade block, and bet365 has odds up for his next permanent team.
Brown, still just 28-years old, is one of the NFL's premier pass-catchers, but inconsistent chemistry with quarterback Jalen Hurts, plus some critical comments about the passing game throughout the season has fans wondering if Brown will be moved.
The 6'1, 226 pound wideout has recorded over 1,000 yards in six of his seven years in the league and he's been named to three Second Team All-Pro teams.
His best years came in 2022 and 2023 with Philly when he had over 1,400 yards and seven touchdowns in each season. His production has fallen off slightly in recent years, barely clearing the 1,000 yard mark in 2024 and 2025.
Hurts has been inconsistent delivering him the ball accurately, but Brown didn't help himself when he dropped two crucial balls in the Wild Card playoff round against the San Francisco 49ers this year.
Despite some drops, he's a big target who will be a true X receiver on the outside for almost any team in the league. He's physical on 50/50 balls, fast enough to break away from a defense after the catch, and is tough down the middle of the field.
Here's a look at the odds for Brown's next team on Sep. 10, 2026:
PHI Eagles | -150 |
NE Patriots | +350 |
BUF Bills | +1200 |
MIA Dolphins | +1600 |
TEN Titans | +1600 |
BAL Ravens | +2000 |
SF 49ers | +2000 |
DEN Broncos | +2500 |
LV Raiders | +2500 |
KC Chiefs | +2800 |
The Eagles are still -150 favorites to keep Brown in Philly. It's always hard to facilitate a trade for a top player in any league, and Brown hasn't yet officially requested a trade publicly.
Head coach Nick Sirianni was recently asked about if Brown will be on team the next season and responded by saying, "I think we're still in a spot, like, I can't guarantee how anything is going to play out into next season. I'm thinking I'm going to be the coach next season but you can't guarantee anything past tomorrow."
Not a very confident answer from the head man. Also, the hiring of the unproven Sean Mannion at offensive coordinator certainly hasn't resonated well in NFL circles.
The Super Bowl runner-up New England Patriots (+350) could use a premier playmaker to pair with MVP runner-up QB Drake Maye. Stefon Diggs and Kayshon Boutte had nice years on the outside for the Pats, but Brown would immediately become the most talented wideout in Foxborough.
Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills (+1200) have been missing a true No. 1 target on the outside ever since Diggs left, and the duo of the powerful Brown and Allen would cause several problems for defenses in the league.
The Miami Dolphins and Tennessee Titans are each rebuilding teams and are +1600. Jaylen Waddle has been in trade rumors for Miami dating back to the trade deadline, and Philly could swap Brown for the former Crimson Tide speedster to pair with college teammate DeVonta Smith.
Similarly to the Bills, the Baltimore Ravens (+2000) have tirelessly tried to find an elite receiver for Lamar Jackson to throw to, and Brown would clearly be the best target Jackson has had in his career.
The San Francisco 49ers might lose Jauan Jennings to free agency, and Brown would be an upgraded replacement for Brock Purdy, Kyle Shanahan, and the Niners offense. Brandon Aiyuk has a similar playstyle to Brown, and he had a terrific start to his career in SF before injuries put a major dent in his career.
Three AFC West teams close out the top-ten favorites to land Brown: Denver and Las Vegas are each +2500 - the Broncos have some cap space and would like to take advantage of Bo Nix's rookie contract window, while the Raiders have some high-end draft picks they could give Philly.
The Kansas City Chiefs are +2800 for A.J. Brown, and the thought of Patrick Mahomes' deep balls to Brown would put defensive coordinators in a huge predicament.
