Mbappe, 27, is already among the leading scorers in World Cup history, and could move into first place all-time ahead of the Lionel Messi when the curtains close on the 2026 edition of the tournament.
The Real Madrid forward currently has 16 World Cup goals, tied for second with German Legend Miroslav Klose, while Messi has 19 all-time thanks to six already in 2026.
France will be up against a Swedish side that conceded 7 goals in the group stage, meaning that France's forwards could feast against a susceptible defense.
