The New York Knicks head into Game 3 of the NBA Finals with momentum, a 2-0 series lead, and an entire city ready to watch.
For the first time in this series, the Knicks will host the San Antonio Spurs.
Madison Square Garden will be at the center of the action, thousands of fans are expected to gather just a few blocks away at Bryant Park.
The original watch party was scheduled outside of Madison Square Garden but with President Trump set to attend, the watch party had to be canceled due to security reasons.
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced a watch party will now be held in Bryant Park in addition to events in Central Park and Brooklyn Bowl.
The Bryant Park watch party event will be free and open to the public, though pre-registration is required and will be capped at 5,000 people. Tickets are expected to go fast, fans are able to register online starting at 12:00 PM (ET).
The Knicks have not won a NBA Championship since 1973. A win tonight for the Knicks would push them to the brink of a championship title.
No matter what happens in Game 3, Bryant Park will once again capture the pulse of the city - where New York's energy goes far beyond Madison Square Garden.
