The World Baseball Classic is in full swing, and both USA and Mexico have gotten off to fast starts.
The US is 2-0 after outscoring Brazil and Great Britain 24-6, while Mexico is also undefeated against the same opponents, outscoring Great Britain and Brazil 24-2.
Each lineup is stacked with power, but the US has only homered twice in their two games. Mexico has six home runs in their two games played so far.
For the US, Kyle Schwarber and Aaron Judge have hit the home runs, while Jonathan Aranda, Jarren Duran, Alek Thomas, Alejandro Kirk, Nacho Alvarez, and Julian Ornelas have all gone deep for Mexico.
It'll be Paul Skenes on the mound for the United States and Manny Barreda taking the bump for Mexico. Barreda was drafted by the New York Yankees in 2007 and last pitched for the Wei Chuan Dragons last season.
The US should get some opportunities for big time hits against the 37-year-old Barreda, but it'll be hard for Mexico to break through against Skenes.
