Tracking the highest paid running backs in the NFL after Bijan Robinson and Jahmyr Gibbs signed record setting contract in the offseason.
The Atlanta Falcons made Bijan Robinson the highest-paid running back in the NFL with a massive three-year extension this off-season, just before the Detroit Lions signed Jahmyr Gibbs to a contract worth an additional $750 million ($250,000 per year) to break the record again.
Robinson and Gibbs are firmly established among the best running backs in the NFL and were rightly rewarded for their skill sets.
Jonathan Taylor, Saquon Barkley, and Christian McCaffrey are also very well paid, making north of $19 million per year, however, the length of their contracts is limited to two years due to the mileage already accumulated at a position known for short careers.
The Arizona Cardinals' Jeremiyah Love is a rare rookie ranking among the top 10 highest-paid players at his position by earning over $13 million per year on average from his rookie deal.
