Dallas Cowboys Season Futures & Over/Under Win Total

Jerry Jones's Cowboys are expected to be far improved in 2026 in Brian Schottenheimer's second season as the head coach.

The Dallas Cowboys have an incredibly high-powered offense led by 33-year-old quarterback Dak Prescott. Prescott is a gunslinger, and he benefits from having two elite pass-catchers in CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens running routes every week. Tight end Jake Ferguson and running back Javonte Williams are also very capable complementary pieces that keep Schottenheimer’s offense moving if Lamb or Pickens miss any time.

The defense is the big question in Dallas. The team named 34-year-old Christian Parker as the defensive coordinator for the 2026 season, making him the youngest person to fill that role in Cowboys history.

The team is a full year removed from the blockbuster trade that saw edge rusher Micah Parsons join the Green Bay Packers in exchange for defensive tackle Kenny Clark and two first-round picks (2026 and 2027). The Cowboys then traded for another star defensive lineman, Quinnen Williams, and drafted edge rusher Malachi Lawrence and safety Caleb Downs in the 2026 draft.

On paper, the Cowboys have become much deeper on the defensive side of the ball, however, the question remains whether Parker can get the best out of all those players in 2026.
