NFC East Division Winner Prediction & Best Bets

The Philadelphia Eagles won their third NFC East divisional title in four years in 2025 before crashing out of the playoffs at the first hurdle against the San Francisco 49ers.

They face a competitive division this time around, with the other three contenders all chalked up at +550 or less to top the section, despite all having losing records last year.

The Dallas Cowboys went 7-9-1 while the Washington Commanders were 5-12 and the New York Giants went 4-13.

There have been big changes at all three contenders however and that nicely sets up what should be one of the most intriguing divisions in the NFL in 2026.

Here we pick out the best bets from the NFC East for the upcoming season.

NFC East Division Winner betting picks and predictions

Dallas Cowboys (+220)

The Dallas Cowboys have missed out on the playoffs in the last two seasons and their poor defense was to blame in 2025.

They ranked last in pass yards allowed per game (251.5) and 30th in interceptions (six) and 26th in sacks (35). The only way is up for this group and they made some exciting moves over the offseason to improve after losing Micah Parsons last year. Christian Parker has been tasked with getting more from this team as their new Defensive Coordinator.

After picking up Quinnen Williams last season, they have also added former Green Bay Packer Rashan Gary. They also managed to snag defensive back Caleb Downs with the 11th pick of the draft and he should be a big upgrade on what they had previously.

He is their highest defensive pick since 2012 and was joined by 23rd pick Malachi Lawrence, a pass rusher who should improve the Cowboys up front.

Jalen Thompson, P.J. Locke and Cobie Durant have joined the secondary while linebacker Dee Winters has also arrived.

All in all this should be a much better defensive unit and their offense was rock-solid last year, with Dak Prescott throwing for 4,552 yards and 30 touchdowns.

A contract dispute with Brandon Aubrey was settled amicably and a similar situation with George Pickens seems likely. With an improved defense, the Cowboys look ready to challenge the Philadelphia Eagles and win the NFC East.

The Eagles are learning a new offense under Sean Mannion after Kevin Patullo’s disastrous spell last season. Add to that the fact that they have lost star receiver A.J. Brown and there are some big concerns about Philadelphia heading into the new campaign.

Jalen Carter wants a big contract extension and could be traded to add to their woes. Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley are still an elite combination but there are enough question marks about the Eagles to pass them over.

Likewise the Washington Commanders go into this new campaign under a cloud of uncertainty after Jayden Daniels missed the majority of last season through injury.

The New York Giants are seriously intriguing under new head coach John Harbaugh but it is a big ask to go from 4-13 to winning such a competitive division.

New York Giants over 7.5 regular season wins (-105)

After 18 years with the Baltimore Ravens, John Harbaugh has taken over as head coach of the New York Giants and leads an intriguing team into 2026.

Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo impressed in their rookie seasons and should shake off any injury concerns to feature from Week 1, alongside star receiver Malik Nabers.

This is a young team and with such an experienced head coach at the helm, they could be going places.

Take the Giants to bust the line of 7.5 regular season wins in what could be a real bounceback year for the Big Blue.
