Chris Sale will look to lead his Atlanta Braves to a 2-1 series lead when he takes on the Los Angeles Dodgers tonight at Truist Park.
Sale has been a phenomenal pickup for the Braves since they traded Vaughn Grissom for him in 2023. His ERA has stayed under 2.60 in every season he's been with Atlanta, and he enjoyed a career year in his age 37 season this season.
The lefty pitched 162.2 innings and struck out 200 batters this season, still reaching near-triple digits on the radar gun with his fastball and making hitters look silly with his slider.
The Braves evened the series at one after a terrific game from their bullpen in Game 2. Sale would give them some needed rest if he can turn in a gem in Game 3.
