Chris Harris Jr. and Emmanuel Sanders Make Their Picks for Week 4

Super Bowl 50 champions Chris Harris Jr. and Emmanuel Sanders broke down this weekend's biggest games on their podcast, The Matchup.

The guys discuss the Washington Commanders vs. the Indianapolis Colts game in London, the NFC showdown between the Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams, and the Chicago Bears vs. New York Jets battle. Both disagree on the winner for each game, but who's analysis will be proven right?

So far this season, the cornerback, Harris Jr., is up one game on the receiver, Sanders. Check out their picks on their three disagreements for Week 4 below:

Commanders vs. Colts (London)

  • Emmanuel's pick: Commanders

  • Chris' pick: Colts

In an early 9:30 AM ET game being played in London, Marcus Mariota and the Commanders are fresh off a win against the defending Super Bowl champions, while the Colts impressively beat the Houston Texans. With both teams hot, it's difficult to pick a side. Here's what the two former Pro-Bowlers had to say about the game:

"I gotta ride with the Colts because of their run game," Harris Jr. said. "Taylor, he's doing his thing, Jones [is getting] activated, and they're playing a little bit better on defense...this is their week to get over the hump."

Sanders, though, likes how the former Heisman winner is playing at QB for Washington. "The team went to the coach and said they want Mariota, even with him being the backup quarterback, they want him to be a permanent captain. You can just tell the energy out there seems right in Washington."

Rams vs. Eagles

  • Emmanuel's pick: Eagles

  • Chris' pick: Rams

Both teams are coming off a loss, and the Eagles looked completely out of sync against Case Keenum and the Bears last week. It'll be tough for them to get right against the Rams who have star receiver Puka Nacua back in the lineup, especially with Devonta Smith out. Why does Sanders think Philly will manage to pull it off?

"I'm taking the Eagles because the Eagles are at home...and obviously they just laid an egg vs. the Bears, but Case Keenum was out there balling."

"I'm going with the Rams," the former All-Pro corner said. "I think they're mad about that loss and feel like they should've won that game...the thing that's always killed the Rams vs. the Eagles is the running game, but Saquon [Barkley] ain't the same as he was two years ago...I don't think they get it back this week against the Rams."

Bears vs. Jets

  • Emmanuel's pick: Bears

  • Chris' pick: Jets

Tyson Bagent is looking like he'll get the start against the Jets after Keenum had a terrific game against the Eagles last week, but Sanders doesn't think the quarterback change will matter too much. On the other hand, Harris Jr. loves the way Geno Smith has been playing for New York and believes that will continue.

"I feel like you're just giving me one here, man," Sanders joked when he realized Harris Jr. picked the Jets.

"Nah, I'm not giving you a nothing!" Harris Jr. replied. "Geno putting up numbers, man you gotta go look up Geno's stats..he's putting up 300, throwing three touchdown games, Geno out there going off."

Sanders offered his side of the argument. "It's not Case Keenum why I'm feeling so strong [about this pick], it's Ben Johnson...he's a bad boy to me, man. So, I'm gonna roll with them Bears, especially when they get Caleb back..they got a chance to be in the Super Bowl."

We'll be keeping tabs with their picks and seeing if Sanders can make a come back on Harris Jr., who leads the receiver by one game.
