Caleb Wilson will look to continue his torrid start to his professional career when his Chicago Bulls take on the Los Angeles Lakers tonight in Summer League in Las Vegas.
Wilson, the No. 4 overall pick, has taken the NBA by storm with his unexpected ball-handling and shooting ability, along with his shutdown defense and high-level athleticism that fans saw at North Carolina.
The 6'10 forward made just seven of his 27 three-point attempts in 24 games at Carolina last year, but through three Summer League games Wilson has already made 12 of 25 threes, including seven in his debut.
He's shown a surprising ability to create perimeter shots for himself, navigating screens and nailing step-back threes. He scored 35 in his first game against Cam Boozer and the Memphis Grizzles, and 19 in each of his past two games against the Utah Jazz and Washington Wizards.
He's also made new fans with his competitiveness and confidence, calling out No. 1 overall pick AJ Dybantsa and No. 2 overall pick Darryn Peterson who each sat out games recently.
"I can't say [Dybantsa and Peterson] don't enjoy basketball, but like, I enjoy basketball. I love this sh*t," Wilson told reporters. "I felt yesterday was weird because I expected Darryn to play. So when I came into the game, I didn't have the right mindset."
Wilson will get his fourth opportunity to impress more fans when the ball is tipped at 6:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM CT / 3:00 PM PT this evening. Below is a look at his player props, including points, assists, rebounds, and threes made, with odds provided by bet365:
