Caleb Williams possesses a very strong arm and uses his legs to escape tricky situations. Williams is still raw and developing, but flashes of stardom have emerged over his two years in the league.
His ability to maneuver around defenders behind the line of scrimmage and throw a bullet on the run from different arm angles is reminiscent of the early years of Patrick Mahomes' career and gives Bears' fans hope that he is their future.
Williams' speed sometimes shocks the defense as he reaches levels at or near 20 MPH.
Williams signed a four-year, $39.5 million fully guaranteed contract after he was selected first overall. The Bears will have the choice to either accept or decline his fifth-year option in 2028.
