The Buffalo Bills enter a new era with Joe Brady as head coach, following his tenure as the team's offensive coordinator. This is not the only coaching change the Bills have made this offseason; Jeff Leonhard is making his defensive coordinator debut for the Bills, previously working for the Denver Broncos.
Josh Allen's ability to move the ball down the field using running back James Cook, combined with the new addition of wide receiver DJ Moore, will be an early test for the Houston defense.
DeMeco Ryans returns for his fourth year with the Houston Texans and quarterback C.J. Stroud leads the Texans offense that will hope to find better consistency this season. The Texans had one of the top performing defenses in 2025 and they have only gotten stronger adding Reed Blankenship and Logan Hall to the roster.
Defensive end Will Anderson Jr. and Houston's pass rush have the ability to disrupt Josh Allen, putting pressure on the Bill's offensive line. After allowing eight sacks to the Texans in last years matchup, Buffalo will be sure to not let history repeat itself.
