The 2026 World Baseball Classic is just two days away.
In a battle of the best baseball players playing for their respective home countries, 20 teams will fight for the sixth-ever WBC title.
Japan leads with three WBC outright wins, while the USA, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico each have won it once.

The 20 teams are divided into four, five team groups (A-D) playing in a round-robin format. The top two teams from each group advance to the single-elimination quarterfinal round.
The first game of the 2026 World Baseball Classic begins on Wednesday, March 4 at 10:00 PM ET / 9:00 PM CT / 7:00 PM PT when Chinese Taipei takes on Australia.
The United States plays their first game on Friday, March 6 at 8:00 PM ET / 7:00 PM CT / 6:00 PM PT against Brazil.
The tournament lasts from March 4 - March 17. The quarterfinals start on March 13, the semifinals are on March 16 and 16, while the Final is on Tuesday, March 17.
The 2026 World Baseball Classic will be held at four locations:
loanDepot Park, Miami, FL
Daikin Park, Houston, TX
Tokyo Dome, Tokyo, Japan
Hiram Bithorn Stadium, San Juan, Puerto Rico
FOX holds the rights to the 2026 World Baseball Classic. Every game will either be on FOX, FS1, FS2, or TUBI.
The entire tournament will also be broadcast on the Fox Sports App.
All of the United States' games will be broadcast on either FOX or FS1. The championship game will be broadcast on FOX, available via cable or live streaming services such as YouTube TV.
