In 2026, the Seattle Seahawks won their second Super Bowl in franchise history in a dominating 29-13 victory over the New England Patriots.
The seven-month long NFL offseason begins today, and the teams we saw playing in the 2025/26 season will look much different in 2026/27.
Between free agency, trades, and the draft, every team will look to retool their roster for next year. On top of that, 10 new head coaches will lead their respective franchises next year, which could lead to even more unpredictability.
It's no guarantee that these two teams will be back in the Big Game in 2027, but it's never too early to look at who the oddsmakers believe will be the best team next season.

MVP Matthew Stafford said that he will return next year, and the Los Angeles Rams are +550 to win it all next year. The Rams have bolstered their roster by adding 2025 Defensive play of the year winner Myles Garrett, and former All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie.
The Seahawks are +1100 to run it back in 2027. Offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak is taking over the Las Vegas Raiders head coaching job and Kenneth Walker III and Rashid Shaheed are pending free agents, but the defense should remain mostly intact.

Two playoff teams that each won a game in the postseason this year, the Niners (+1800) and Broncos, (+2000) are other serius contenders to win the 2026 Super Bowl.
Seattle was around +6500 to win Super Bowl LX heading into the 2025/26 season, showing the current parity in the NFL. It wouldn't be a huge surprise to see a team like the Vikings (+4500) or Steelers (+6500) replicate what the Seahawks did.
