The 2027 PGA Tour season will conclude the tour's current structure before splitting into the Champions and Challenger Series in 2028.
The 2028 season will look completely different from what PGA Tour fans are accustomed to, marking an exciting change for the future of the Tour and golf fans around the world. In contrast, the 2027 season will remain largely unchanged, featuring 36 tournaments, including The Players Championship and eight Signature Events.
Notable changes
The season will start in California now that the PGA Tour will no longer play its two Hawaii events. The Sentry at Torrey Pines in San Diego will be the only tournament to end on a Saturday.
The Sompo Championship will replace the Rocket Classic, other notable changes include the Florida Swing has the Arnold Palmer Invitational to follow The Players Championship instead of preceding it.
