Alexander Isak

The most expensive player in Premier League history, Alexander Isak is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a striker for Liverpool and the Sweden national team.

Born and raised in Stockholm, Isak began his professional career with his boyhood club AIK in 2016. He then went on to represent Borussia Dortmund and Willem II before signing with Real Sociedad in 2019. In 2022, Isak joined Newcastle United for a club-record fee, establishing himself as one of Europe's best strikers. He signed for Liverpool for £125 million, breaking both the club and British transfer fee records.

Making his international debut for Sweden in 2017, Isak became their youngest ever goalscorer in his second appearance for his nation and will be looking to help them reach their first major tournament since Euro 2020, where he was a breakout star at 21 years-old.
