19' - GOAL! Germany 2-0 Scotland
This is starting to look like a long night for Scotland.
Its a superb move from Germany as Havertz is played through and he unselfishly lays the ball off for Musiala, who in turn rifles the ball past Gunn. The two German attacking midfielders have already opened their accounts for the tournament and Scotland find themselves 2-0 down inside 20 minutes.
16' - Germany 1-0 Scotland
Scotland's supporters are trying to lift their side, who haven't done a lot wrong so far.
Germany haven't had to do much to take the lead but the key for Steve Clarke's side now is to regroup and not concede a second.
10' - GOAL! Germany 1-0 Scotland
Just as Scotland looked to have settled, Germany take the lead in Munich! Joshua Kimmich finds Wirtz on the edge of the area and he fires a shot into the bottom right-hand corner. Gunn got a big hand to it and arguably should have done better. Scotland will be disappointed, they had negotiated the early exchanges with ease and they find themselves behind.
6' - Germany 0-0 Scotland
It's been a bright start from Scotland, Andy Robertson looks lively on the left and Scott McTominay has started well in midfield.
No attacks of note from Germany since the early Wirtz run, and Scotland have dealt with the commotion of the start of a major international tournament well here.
1' - Germany 0-0 Scotland
An early warning for Scotland as Florian Wirtz sees his shot blocked by Angus Gunn, but the flag was already up.
It seemed to be a strangely high line from Scotland there. They will need be aware of Wirtz and Musiala making those runs.
A touching tribute to the late, great Frank Beckenbauer ahead of kick-off is followed by two thunderous national anthems, and its Germany who get Euro 2024 underway in Munich.
A big first 10 minutes ahead for Scotland and they need to come out it unscathed.

We've had the opening ceremony and the teams are in the tunnel waiting to enter the Allianz Arena.
The Tartan Army are in fine voice and Flower of Scotland is going to be very, very special.
Here are the latest odds to win Group A and Germany are unsurprisingly the clear favourites.
Che Adams is chosen to lead the line for Scotland and whilst Lawrence Shankland is a better finisher, it is perhaps the all-round game of Adams that Steve Clarke is counting on.
Adams is 11/2 to finish as Scotland's top goalscorer at Euro 2024.
Is he a striker? Is he a midfielder? Is he somewhere in between?
Arsenal's Kai Havertz won't have a better chance to prove his credentials as a striker, as he gets the nod to start up front for his country in a home tournament.
He's 5/1 to be the top Premier League goalscorer at Euro 2024 and 25/1 to win the Golden Boot.
The teams are in for tonight's game and Scotland have opted for Che Adams in attack, with Lawrence Shankland waiting in the wings from the bench.
It's otherwise as we expected from Steve Clarke as he adopts his familiar wing-back system.
As for Germany, much will be expected of Arsenal striker Kai Havertz and he leads the line for the hosts this evening.
He will have support from classy operators in the form of Florian Wirtz and Jamal Musiala, while Leroy Sane misses out and will be available as a substitute.
Germany (4-3-2-1): Neuer, Kimmich, Rudiger, Tah, Mittelstadt, Andrich, Kroos, Gundogan, Musiala, Wirtz, Havertz.
Scotland (5-4-1): Gunn, Ralston, Hendry, Porteous, Tierney, Robertson, McGinn, McGregor, McTominay, Christie, Adams.
