After a trophyless 2025, Wigan Warriors will be desperate to bounce back in 2026, and are 20/1 to scoop a domestic treble of League Leaders' Shield, Grand Final and Challenge Cup.
Matt Peet's men won a remarkable quadruple in 2024, beating Penrith Panthers in the World Club Challenge before taking the Challenge Cup at Wembley, downing Warrington Wolves 18-8. Wigan then captured the League Leaders' Shield before edging out Hull KR 9-2 at Old Trafford to win the Grand Final.
The Robins finally took the next step to claim a domestic treble of their own in 2025, but with the World Club Challenge and Las Vegas game to contest early in the campaign, Willie Peters' men will have their hands full.
Rovers kick off their Super League campaign with a short trip to newcomers York Knights before hosting Brisbane Broncos in the World Club Challenge. Peters' side then cross the Atlantic for the Las Vegas clash with Leeds Rhinos before trips to Huddersfield Giants and Catalans Dragons upon their return. Hull KR's imperious start last season, winning 15 of their first 16 games, proved too much for Wigan to overcome, but things may be different this time around.
The champions' demanding start could hand the Warriors an early advantage who by comparison have a much gentler start, facing two newly promoted sides as well as Huddersfield in their opening six, and it's not hard to imagine Wigan will have a healthy lead over the Robins heading into Easter weekend.
Last season's shock exit at the hands of Hull FC brought an end to Wigan's run of three straight Challenge Cup semi-finals, going on to lift the trophy in two of those years, and the Cherry and Whites will expect to be there or thereabouts come late May.
