Two teams desperate for a victory meet on Sunday in Super League as St Helens take on Huddersfield Giants at the BrewDog Stadium.
Saints have struggled to string performances together in recent weeks and have dropped to sixth in the table and face a fight on their hands to make the play-offs if they maintain their current standards.
Huddersfield have propped up the division for most of the season and they are still rock-bottom after only winning two of their 14 Super League games.
The two teams last met in May, with St Helens winning 26-18 away from home and they will hope to record a more convincing victory this time around.
Best Bet - St Helens -20.5 @ 10/11
Alternative Bet - Under 52.5 points @ 10/11
Bet Builder - Harry Robertson to score a try, Tristan Sailor to score a try & To win both halves - either team @ 10/3
Best Bet: St Helens -20.5 @ 10/11
When the chips are down, teams need a lifeline from somewhere and a clash against the Giants this season has been as good as it gets for opposition teams.
Huddersfield have looked pretty hopeless in most departments and two wins in 14 is a testament to that.
St Helens have only won one in five, but that victory did come against Huddersfield in May.
The Giants have conceded 36 points or more in three consecutive games since then and they are bound to struggle on the road.
Saints have been poor on the whole, but at home, they have only lost two in eight and they should cover the spread this week.
Alternative Bet: Under 52.5 points @ 10/11
Ordinarily, it would make sense to expect a high-scoring game when one team is struggling at the wrong end of the table.
However, St Helens have not been scoring points for fun in recent weeks. They have only scored 26 points or more in one of their last five and while they are expected to repeat that feat, it is unlikely they score 40 or more.
While Saints have dropped off in attack, their defence has been pretty reliable and they have conceded 24 points or fewer in eight of their last nine Super League matches.
Huddersfield have not posted more than 18 points in six successive matches and they should struggle once again.
Harry Robertson to score a try
Tristan Sailor to score a try
To win both halves - either team
Pays @ 10/3
St Helens' chances of victory have been buoyed by the return of Harry Robertson, Nene Macdonald and Jackson Hastings.
Robertson's support play and ability to find gaps in the red zone should help him cross over for a try, for the second successive match against the Giants.
Half-back Tristan Sailor is one of the key players in Saints' attack and he has still recorded the third-most metres, second-most offloads and third-most carries.
After signing a new contract in midweek, he will be itching to make a statement and he has the speed to cause the Giants issues.
With Hastings returning, Saints should control the game thanks to his superior kicking game and it is tough to see Huddersfield doing any damage across the 80 minutes due to their toothless attack.
