Amo Racing have five runners on All-Weather Finals Day at Newcastle but first choice rider David Egan will not ride at Gosforth Park.
The outfit have a reputation for chopping and changing their number one jockey, employing the likes of Rossa Ryan and Kevin Stott before landing on Egan in 2023.
Punters assessing Friday's lucrative Newcastle card will have spotted that Egan is nowhere to be seen on Amo's horses with Rowan Scott instead getting the nod to ride on Good Friday.
There is no cause for alarm on Egan's behalf, however, with the 26-year-old instead heading to the Curragh where he will pick up four rides for his bosses as well as a spare for Denis Hogan.
Egan, who was born in Leinster, Ireland, heads back to the country of his birth with an eye on Group 3 honours aboard California Dreamer.
The four-year-old filly is one of two in the Park Express Stakes alongside Spicy Margarita - also owned by Kia Joorabchian's outfit.
On paper, Egan's mount is the number one string heading into the contest and brings some smart form from her three-year-old season that includes a runner-up finish behind Lake Victoria in the Irish 1,000 Guineas.
Egan also rides in the opening race on the card aboard interesting two-year-old newcomer Edward Thatch.
By first season sire Blackbeard, there will be plenty of attention on his performance with punters hoping to get a steer on how his progeny will take to the track.
Back in the UK, it will be Scott who will be steering the Amo runners in the north of England.
The 29-year-old was signed to a retainer that runs up until the conclusion of the 2026 season having already ridden a Group 1 for his bosses in the Sun Chariot Stakes last October.
He has some really nice chances on All-Weather Finals Day including Lakers who is hoping to land the £77,310 prize for winning the Sprint Handicap at 15:35.
