There's a stacked bill of action for fight fans to look forward to in London this weekend as domestic heavyweight rivals Daniel Dubois and Fabio Wardley renew their rivalry in a hotly-anticipated WBO world title rematch.
The pair will headline Queensberry's latest card at the O2 Arena on Saturday, October 17, where Dubois will hope to make a successful first defence of the strap he captured from Wardley in May.
The Londoner twice clawed himself off the canvas to secure a sensational 11th round stoppage of the previously unbeaten Ipswich fighter to establish himself as a two-time blue-riband division ruler.
And now -- just five months on -- they are set to do it all again!
However, before then, we have a bumper undercard to look forward to with several intriguing domestic clashes and another heavyweight contest featuring an Olympic champion and a former English title-holder.
Here is a look at the fights scheduled for the Dubois vs Wardley 2 undercard.
The chief-support contest sees Uzbekistan’s Bakhodir Jalolov take on Britain’s Solomon Dacres in a heavyweight showdown.
Jalolov arrives with an outstanding amateur pedigree, having won consecutive Olympic gold medals at Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024.
The southpaw has also enjoyed an unbeaten start to his professional career and will be looking to continue his progress towards the blue-riband division’s elite.
Dacres, meanwhile, faces a difficult assignment as he attempts to upset the unbeaten Uzbek.
The once-beaten Briton has previously held the English heavyweight title and will hope to use the opportunity to make a statement on a major London fight night.
British and Commonwealth lightweight titles will be on the line when Louie O’Doherty meets Michael Gomez Jr.
O’Doherty enters the contest unbeaten and will be aiming to maintain that record while adding significant domestic silverware to his collection.
Gomez Jr brings considerably more professional experience into the contest, having competed against a range of European level opponents during his 25 fight-long career.
There's little to separate the two in the betting, but it's the Manchester fighter who heads into the bout as the underdog -- desperate to spoil O’Doherty’s title ambitions and secure the silverware for himself.
