Which celebrities are at the UFC White House event tonight?

One of the most historic events in UFC history takes place tonight on the South Lawn of the White House and the stars are out in the US capital.

Featuring a stacked card headlined by Ilia Topuria vs Justin Gaethje for the lightweight title, the event sees the UFC celebrate 250 years of American independence.

The chief support sees Alex Pereira take on Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight title amid Tom Aspinall's ongoing inactivity due to injury.

A number of UFC stars make up the seven-fight card, including former bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley, featherweight contender Diego Lopes and fan favourite Michael Chandler.

The 4,000-capacity venue was in view of the executive mansion was constructed specifically for the event, with Dana White revealing in the lead-up that the total cost for putting on UFC Freedom 250 is in excess of $60million.

Coinciding with the 80th birthday of US President Donald Trump, the event has brought out some of the biggest names in American politics sport and culture.

Trump has a long and storied history with the UFC, having hosted multiple events at his Atlantic City casino during the promotion's dark age in the early 2000s.

A longtime fan of mixed martial arts, Trump reportedly specifically requested that Derrick Lewis be added to the card, with the 'Black Beast' taking on surging heavyweight contender Josh Hokit.
