Originally scheduled to be topped by a bout between Silva and Yair Rodriguez, Delgado stepped in after former title challenger was forced to withdraw due to injury.
There has been two Mexican-born undisputed champions in UFC history and both will be in action at the Desert Diamond Arena.
Former flyweight king Brandon Moreno is scheduled to face Joseph Morales in the co-main event, while ex-women's flyweight champion Alexa Grasso will take on top contender Manon Fiorot.

Held at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, the early prelims on UFC Fight Pass are scheduled to get underway at 19:00 BST on Saturday evening, with the action continuing on TNT Sports 2 from 20:00 BST.
The five-round lightweight clash between Jean Silva and Jose Delgado is expected to get underway at around 00:30 BST in the early hours of Sunday morning for fans in the UK and Ireland. (16:30 MST local time)
