The World Cup may still be ongoing but club football has already returned to Europe.
The UEFA Champions League has reached the second qualifying round, with The New Saints falling at the first hurdle, though Lincoln Red Imps, Larne and Shamrock Rovers all booked their passage into the next round.
The second round ties take place on 21st/22nd and 28th/29th July, though the draw for the third qualifying round takes place on 20th July, meaning everyone will know their opponents prior to their matches.
Fourteen more teams will go by the wayside in the second round, where the likes of Red Star Belgrade, Dinamo Zagreb, Fenerbahce, Sturm Graz and Hearts enter the fray.
Hearts, competing in the UEFA Champions League for the first time, go through qualifying via the League Path, having finished second in the Scottish Premiership last term and will meet Austria's Sturm Graz.
Should Wouter Vrancken's men progress, they will be unseeded in the third round, where they'd meet either Lyon, Bodo/Glimt, Olympiacos or Gornik Zabrze
Celtic will enter in the third qualifying round, but will tackle the Champions Path as a seeded team.
