Hearts are set to feature in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers for the first time in two decades after finishing an agonising second in the Scottish Premiership last season.
Their runner-up spot means they will need to hurdle three qualifying rounds in July and August if they're to reach the main draw of Europe's elite club competiton for the first time in their history.
Hearts' last venture in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers saw them beat Siroki Brijeg of Bosnia & Herzegovina in the second qualifying round in 2005, before losing to AEK Athens in the next stage.
As the Jambos gear up for a European adventure, we take a look at their possible route to the league phase of the UEFA Champions League.
Unseeded in the League Path of UEFA Champions League qualifying, Hearts will encounter Austrian side Sturm Graz.
It's likely the away tie will not be played at Graz's Merkur Arena due to work being undertaken at the stadium while the two-legged ties are scheduled to take place.
The first leg is scheduled for 21st/22nd July, with the second leg a week later on 28th/29th July.
Hearts must triumph in three two-legged UEFA Champions League qualifiers if they're to reach the league phase of the competition.
The Jambos have been placed in the unseeded section of the League Path alongside Polish outfit Górnik Zabrze.
If Hearts progress, they will be unseeded in the third qualifying round, meaning their opponent could be any one of Lyon, Bodo/Glimt, Olympiacos or Fenerbahce.
If Hearts are victorious again and reach the play-off round, they will be unseeded, meaning they will face either the winner of the tie involving Lyon or the winner of the tie involving Bodo/Glimt.
