According to reports from Italy, West Ham United striker Taty Castellanos is the subject of reported interest from Ruben Amorim's AC Milan this summer.
Relegation from the Premier League means that West Ham will be set to lose a number of key stars this summer, with Argentinian striker Castellanos the latest to be linked with a move elsewhere.
Castellanos only joined the now-Championship outfit for a reported €29m in January, with the goal of helping the Hammers to secure survival in the top flight.
The former Lazio man performed extremely well in his short time with the club, scoring six goals in 18 Premier League matches, although this wasn't enough to save West Ham from the drop.
Given his strong performances and hefty transfer fee, it was always unlikely that Castellanos would remain with West Ham ahead of a season in the second tier, with clubs across Europe reportedly holding an interest in his services.
Reports out of Italy have credited AC Milan, who recently appointed former Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim as their new manager, as holding an interest in a move for the Argentine.
The reports mention that Amorim sees the 27 year-old as the ideal player to bolster his forward line, despite the club having a record breaking fee agreed with Paris Saint-Germain for Portuguese striker Goncalo Ramos.
Castellanos signed a long term deal with the Hammers upon joining the club in January - reportedly running until 2030 - likely making this deal an expensive one to complete for I Rossoneri.
Serie A side Milan aren't the only side circling for Castellanos this summer, as Premier League sides Fulham and Everton have also been linked with moves for the 27 year-old, to bolster their striker options for next season.
